I swear I get all the wierd ones! We have: 25 staff workstations all Win2K. We have a server running Win2k Advanced Server. We have a tektronix 850DP Thermal Wax printer connected directly to the network with its own IP.
The print spooling is done at the server. The problem is this: All workstations were setup by me to print to the tektronix which is in AD. Of the 25 workstations, all can print and set the number of copies. However, only 3 can hit the print properties. The other 22 workstations get this error when attempting to access the properties: "Function address 0x77f8910e caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc0000005) Some or all property page(s) may not be displayed." I have temporarily raised a user to full admin to see if it is simply permissions, but that did not work. We have roaming profiles set up, and the same 3 users can hit properties from any machine, so its not the drivers... (also all the drivers are the same). What am I missing here?
