I have been printing an a4 poster to a laser printer with no problems whatsoever. However when I try to print the same poster with a hp deskjet 840c, the page settings change and the poster is printed incomplete.

Some help would be most appreciated.

Do you mean incomplete as in parts of the page near the edges are chopped off? Or it stops printing part-way through the page? What part is incomplete?

If it's the edges, then the new printer you are sending to has different gripper margins and it probably can't print as close to the edge of the page as your other printer. If it's some other problem, it could be a PostScript error somewhere. Hard to say without knowing more about what it's doing.

Thanks for your help. It looks like it is a postcript problem with my deskjet. The artboard is fine when I use the laser but when I shift over to my deskjet the artboard shrinks meaning I lose the bottom of my work when printed.
