ACC 2000:
made a toolbar with button PRINT which runs code

DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acFile, 6

in every report, the toolbar property names this custom toolbar, it also includes SEND and CLOSE.

funky things happening: on different reports (both portrait and landscape, doesnt matter) doesnt seem to be a logical pattern as to when it happens--when user hits the PRINT button on the custom toolbar; instead of the printer printing the report which the user is viewing, it prints six pages of the main form (used as a 'switchboard') which except for the first page is blank yellow vastness. the main form is open and underneath the print preview of the report.

any ideas?

Is this code in the form itself or in the report open? I can expect anything and everything of myself;
But can only accept or reject what you have to offer!

it's a custom toolbar.
the code is in a module that has that one line in it (which launches the Print Dialogue box).
it's a custom button on a custom toolbar.

in the report property MenuBar, i have this custom toolbar selected.

this works fine for lots of other db's i've made. dont understand the scoop with this one. if the users simply chooses CTRL + P and the print dialogue box comes up, it works fine. but when they do it like this, the print dialogue box comes up as usual, but sometimes when they print it does That Wierd Thing. one guy hit PROPERTIES in the Print Dialogue box and changed the format to LANDSCAPE (why? no one has ever had to do this before?) and it printed the report fine. but when the format in the print dialogue box is diff than the report, the printer prints the underlying form instead.
