Have a VB application that prints to the printer. This works with no problem.
Am testing the documents and insteed of recieving a hard copy of every time was wondering if there is a way of installing a printer that will not print but insteed will produce soemthing similar to a print preview.
At present am running it to the Winfax printer which will then bring up something like a print preview except it uses alot of memory and slows the computer down.
Anyone out there have an answer

Try installing a "Generic/text-only printer" this IS the printer name. Then set this printer to print to FILE:. then print to this printer and the printout will come out as a file. Then you could open the file in VB using VB or wordpad or something. I know it's not the best solution but it is without going into depth.
