Print Preview 'pages' page counter is wrong !?!

I have a problem in Acccess 97, print preview prints page 1 of 5 etc. when there are only 4 pages. When I print the document it prints 1 of 4. I even had a case where print preview showed 1 of 5, then 2 of 4, then 3 of 5 etc.
This has thrown one of my users into a tailspin. Is this an Access bug or can it be fixed???
I am printing in landscape mode.
I checked print setup and my page width and margins is within the paper width.

I've noticed that the Preview is a bit squirrelly at times, too. Access Preview renders a representation of the data, not the actual data, and sometimes it seems to just go wandering off, lost in its own little world...
