If the print preview is scrolled or the page is changed in preview and then printed from preview the resulting report is missing records. Printing without previewing works fine. I am using VFP version 6 SP5.

Are you printing from a result cursor, or directly off the "real" tables? Are these tables connected through relations? Are you opening the tables before calling the report, or does the report have it's own dataenvironment?

I always prepare the data in a cursor (or view) before calling the report, and have no problems like what you're experiencing. It's been reported that when using related tables - especially if set up in the report's dataenvironment - they can cause problems similar to what you suggest.

Another area to be cautious about is UDFs in the report that move about in the related tables (e.g. a Lookup routine).

Thanks for the response. I am running the report from a plain and simple cursor, no relationships are used.

I wonder if somehow your cursor is still active.

have you tried making it a table instead of a curosr to see if it still happens? Attitude is Everything

IF YOU ARE JUST LOOSING A FEW RECORDS AT RANDOM, CHECK TO SEE THAT THE DETAIL BAND DOSN'T 'SQUEEZE' THE DATA FIELDS TO TIGHTLY.
