Hi, I'm sort of new so please bare with me. I have a form that is Pop Up (I like to place most everything in pop up mode, is this wrong?). But when the user wants to print preview a report they can't see it because the main form is Pop Up mode. Is there any way I can make the Print Preview override the pop up? I tried to 'close' the main form, but I've basically minimized the access window so all you see is the desktop and so you can't see the preview.

Thanks

Well, a Pop-Up for is set this way to prevent the user from going to or seeing anything else until the form is closed. It will stay on top. So, in answer to your question I wouldn't make all my forms Pop-Up as this property has a specific purpose.

Now you can make your form Pop-Up and Non-Modal(No) and you can minimize your form to look at the report. After the report is closed you must then resize your popup to close it. Seems awfully tedious to me.

Just create your form and size it and save it. This will preserve the size of the form when you open it. Set the AutoCenter property to Yes. This centers the smaller form on top of everthing else when opened. Now when you open your report from this form in acViewPreview mode the report will display on top of your calling form window and give the user control of the report preview. When that window closes your form is on top and centered.

Let me know if this answers your questions sufficiently.
