Hello,
I have recently been contacted by several of my non-IE6 users and told that they cannot print pdf files from their browser - they need to save it to their hard drives first.
Users of older IE versions say that the print option is grayed out. I tested one file using Netscape 7.0 and found that I could select print, it did show up in the print cue - but then just disapeared and nothing printed!
I also noticed that this is not an issue for pdf files created in older Acrobat versions - only in 6.0. I did check that no security settings have been set - in document properties it says that it can be opened by all versions of acrobat reader (so it must be that the browser is incompatible - correct?!?).
For now they will save the files to their PCs, but I would like to fix the inconvenience. Any suggestions would be welcome! Is there any way to change my PDF Version 1.5 into a PDF Version 1.3 by chance? (from Acrobat writer 6.0)
Thanks,
-Sean
