Print out to Stepper Motor Controllers in Visual Basic

In Quick Basic I was able to send pulses out to
Stepper Motor Controllers with a statement such as:
OUT 888, 291
I hit a stone wall, trying to do it with Visual Basic.

Can anyone help me with my problem?

Is there some way I can make DLL's with the procedures
I have written in Quick Basic, and calling them from the
VB program? Or, is there some way to print out the number
to the Parallel port and have it control the Drivers?

There is inpout32.dll that is available on the net. (The syntax is identical to QuickBasic's Inp and Out). It is freeware so I can send to you if you supply me with your address.
