print or output to screen from procedured

Hi,

I am new to SQL SERVER 2005. I have created a Stored procedure using T-SQL. I cannot seem to get my print statements for debugging to print to the screen.

I did a simple select in the procedure. It did not print to screen either.

I am used to procedures printing output in a grid in SQL SERVER 2000. Do I need to see something on?


I set query to grid. That did nothing.

Can you for example see something if you do ? PRINT 'test'
