Print only Highlighted Text

Does anyone know of a way to allow the user to select text from the displayed report, and print only the text highlighted?

No, I think they'd have to copy and paste it into another program.

You could parameterize a report so that only a certain section might print.

Try a bit of lateral thinking - something we do a lot here, to get Crystal to do extra things it was never designed for.

When using 'drill-down', you can print just the drill-down data. A report might show the overall picture for an account, and transactions on a drill-down, with the option to print details for just that account.

You could do a fake group, say one group per record, showing the record details in the group header and hiding the details. The user could then 'drill down' and get a report page for just that account.

Note that Crystal print will also print just one page of a report. Irritatingly, it does not have a 'print current page' option, at least Crystal 10 does not.
