To print multiple pages as smaller images on one sheet (or more) I have re-discovered the product FINEPRINT. It acts as a sorter for your data before it heads off to your regular printer and its drivers. A trial version is available from their site as well as their order form.
I will find this helpful when I work with our school magazine students as they print proofs and layouts during the preparation of our magazine.
