Hi All,

hope you can help.

I have a bound form which details items that we are expecting into stock. Currently I have a tickbox which runs a query, which then prints a report based upon if the tick box is ticked.

I've had a request to add a no of copies field into the form, so if we have 1 item over say 3 pallets we can print off 3 copies of the report.

Now I managed to do this if I'm only printing off one item at a time based on a previous thread. But the problem is because my form is continuous it only looks at the first records no of copies field, so for say item A I ask for 2 copies, then it works fine. But if I ask for 2 copies of item A and 4 copies of item B, I just get 2 copies of each.

Any ideas how I can get round this? Or shall I just direct them to the photocopier ;-D

Much appreciated

i think what it may be best to do is not to have a continous form , but a single form used for each item. Because you want certain items to print of more then once, have a loop in the print command button, so it will loop and print of 1 or 3 times as required.

Hope this helps.

If yo need help setting up the loop let me know.

Thanks for the reply M8KWR, but having a single form just wouldn't work. We're talking about potentially thousands of items on the list. To ask the guys to scroll through lots of records on a single form would mean that they wouldn't use the system.

sorry, i meant the report side of it.

Still use what you are using, and input in another field the quanity of copies the user requires for each item.

Take this value, and loop this through the print command line, so it prints of how many copies you want of eachitem the user selects, is that want you need???
