Can anyone tell me how I can calculate the size of a print job. I know how to calculate the file size for an image, but what I would like to know is if I print a 3meg file, how much room will I need to spool the print job and how much memory I will need on the printer if the entire file is sent to the printer as a single object.

I don't think you can calculate it... so much depends on how the driver constructs the page.

But what you could do, is do a Print-to-File and see how big that file is. That shold be the same as what gets to the printer.

Tnak you for your response. That is what I finally found by doing a lot of research on HP's site.
