hi dear frend,

i've a report having one record per page. and i want this page to be printed twice, one having "ORIGINAL" and the other having "DUPLICATE" printed on the right corner of the report.

plz help .

bye

possible it isn't the best...

make a subquery in your SELECT:

SELECT ...

, ( SELECT 'DUPLICATE'
FROM DUAL
UNION
SELECT 'ORIGINAL'
FROM DUAL ) xy

...

it duplicates your rows
put it last in your ORDER BY, with DESC

make a field with xy source

hi dear brioska

thanx for ur reply. for me it (the query) u've written just works in the sql like this

select A.SR_NO,'ORIGINAL' from ACC A,DUAL
UNION
select A.SR_NO,'DUPLICATE' from ACC A,DUAL

but doesnt work in the subquery.

can u pls tell me how to write this query in the reports data wizard.

pls do it with the example

thanx
bye
