There is a print job that has jammed up our network printer. I cannot delete it or pause it. The printer does not respond to anything.

Is there a tool in NT that could help me?

Can anyone help me.

Chris,
Have you tried stopping & starting the spooler service on the p.c that your network printer's queue is held. i.e Your print server if you are using one.
Goto servies in control panel and there is a service called spooler, it is obvious frok there.

[tab]We sometimes have the same problem. I discovered that if you go to the PC that is spooling the job, log on as the person who submitted the job, you can delete it. It doesn't do any good to try this as the administrator, only the person submitting the job can remove it.

Also, your users' printer setting should read "print directly to printer." As the print job travels through your network, it will be spooled at the server. A lot of printer issues can occur when the user "Spools to the Spooler."
