Hello:
A Lexmart Z42 printer is the deault printer on a Redhat Server 2.4.21-4.EL. Print job always hangs. From OpenOffice SpreadSheet, for example, it printes 2 ot 3 lines then hangs. Same spreedsheet has no difficulty to print from Win XP station. The printer connects to a D-Link DSS-5+ Switch-II printer server. The Redhat server has 768M memory installed.
Thanks.

How was the print queue configured? What is the output of lpstat -l -p queuename? Have you tried obtaining and using a Lexmark PPD?

Annihilannic.
