print hang problem

Hi everyone!
My customer have got a 3160 ibm printer
It's a network printer
when he send a large job to printer, occur hanging status
Customer network environments is 100_full_duplex,
but printer isn't it. maybe 10Mbyte network adapter.
so, i want to tuning network parameter
3160 printer used to controller which is rs/6000 7043 mother
board.
It's got 192Mbyte memory and aix ver 4.3
Could you tell me tuning method of network?
How can i?

have you tried looking your /var files/directories? if not,check FS by df -k, maybe you need to extend FS size.
