Just checked the Keyword Search but could not find an answer to my problem. I want keep a group together and not split it across a page. Therefore can I check how many lines are available on the current page and compare this to the number of lines required to print the group header (1 line) plus the details lines in the group. Using CR9

Many Thanks

There is no way that I know of to see how many lines there are in a group prior to printing. However, all you have to do to accomplish this is to check "Keep Together" on the group setup screen.

Thank you for the replies, but I had already done that. Within my report there are many occasions where the group is split across a page.

example:
group header

New page

group footer

Please note Keep Together is set in group header, detail lines and group footer.
