Currently we have a user that logs into a terminal server. He can't print to our local network printer. Speaking with the admins on the other end they say that their terminal server doesn't have drivers for our local network printer (HP LaserJet 2300 Series PS) so we had to "tick" his computer into thinking that his computer had the HP LaserJet 2300 Series PS connected to the LPT1 port. This installed an HP2000 series driver to the LPT1 port (i don't know why). Now when trying to print from within the terminal server connection, we get an error, I guess becuase the two printers aren't talking to eachother. Is there a way to pass on the print jobs from the HP2200 printer over to the local network printer?

Yes what you tried and are trying to do will not work. Why don't the admins just add the driver and do this for you?

Citrix XP usually just adds whatever printer you have without a problem, but not sure if you are just running native TS or Citrix on top of it.

P.S. Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
