Hello Everyone.

To start, I am new to Sharepoint...

I need to create a "Print Friendly" page with only a few selected fields from the list, on the DispForm.aspx page.

I am thinking of using javascript but need to put some custom ID tags in the HTML that is generated. Can anyone tell me how to modify the HTML that sharepoint creates for the DispForm.aspx page?

Or... is there another way to do this.

Example:
List has policies. when a particular policy is selected from the list, the DispForm.aspx comes up with all of the fields. I want to open a print friendly page that only prints column A,B,C....etc.

Thank you all in Advance.

Create a different view with just the fields that you want. You could call it print view and / or make it the default view for that list.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, this is not a view of the list I need to modify. I need to create a printable version of the page after clicking on an item in the list (when it goes to the DispForm.aspx page).
