Hi

In my Access application I set up my forms printing to be in landscape view with certain margins. When I close and reopen my database it SOMETIMES loses my settings.

Anyone know of a way around this?
Many thanks

This was a known bug in Access 2000, which was corrected with the
Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1). A work around is to open your
original Access file. Select Tools, Options from the menu bar. Select
the General tab and uncheck all three check boxes in the Name
AutoCorrect section. (This handy feature for some reason kills the
printer settings when you compact the database.) Now re-compact the
database, reset your printer settings, compact one more time. Check
your settings. They should be fine. You'll have to do this with every
database you create that has custom printer settings. Hopefully, this
action will trickle down to your distributed applications, but you
should test it.

You need to download the patch file as well, (available from microsoft web page), it dosen't fully work the way thomas said. I tryed this several times until I spoke to microsoft they gave the file and the problem disappered straight away!
