Hi, Can I print a report using financial reporter to print a consolidated report for multiple entities?
The manual describes a very manual process. I don't really want to having to log on to every company and run the report there.
Just want to run it ones and it get's the data from the different databases.

If FR can't do it. What other options are practical?

GL Consolidations - get all the data into 1 company, that's if you are consolidating.
FR is a great report writer but it's weakness is this lack of reporting on multiple companies. I have automated some of this manual process using macros, but there are still issues. You cannot open one company and then report on other companies in a macro - this would have been ideal.
Other options are F9, Insights, Sage Unintelligence, BizNet etc. Each have their pros and cons, cost being one con.

Thanks for the replies. Will give GL Consolidation a try.

DjangMan -- it depends on what kind of financials you want. SF can do just about any type of report, but some reports are easier to do than others.

I looked at consolidated reports in SF - ran into an issue with consolidating multi currency companies. Can it do MC consolidations?

It can't do MC reports - or at least convert MC companies with different functional currencies to one currency for consolidated reporting. Or at least for the life of me I could not figure it out.
