I'm making a report to replace an old handwritten form. I have a sub-report that spans the page with five fields and all looks good, except that it only prints as many lines as there are records and leaves the rest of the page blank.

I would like to fill the page with lines for visual reasons (about 20 lines total). How can this be done?

Ok, I thought I had a good solution but its no good. I added a bunch of blank lines in the footer of the sub-report, which looks perfect when previewing the sub-report by itself. However, the sub-report footer does not display when the main report is viewed.

Can I get around that somehow?

You could add a dummy field to the record souce = to the amount of missing lines, forcing the detail print event to print null data in the text boxes, or have a look at MoveLayout/NextRecord/PrintSection in Access help.

Ever notice how fast Windows runs? Me neither.

You could create a group with a footer. On the format tab of the footer's properties set force new page to yes.
