Is it possible to print a chart with the chart tips in a PDF?

I create a sort of dashboard (which I've already asked about!) and now I have a new requirement to supply as a PDF, but ideally to still have chart tips available within the PDF.

Any help would be really appreciated guys. My head is really starting to hurt now. I've managed a macro to print all charts to one single PDF document, but as I do this daily I don't want to have to do anything too manual.

Currently I check the date in the data so if it isn't less than today I bung an NA() in my data so it doesn't plot any further, but I just need to ideally have tips on hover in the PDF or if not then the final value as a data label.

Cheers,

Not totally positive, but it sounds like you'd have to use your code to copy out all the current tips along with some sort of designation of what they are, and store them somehow - not exactly sure what would work best right offhand, but I'm thinking a temporary text file might fit the bill.

Then you'd have to use some code on Adobe's side to get the text, and put them into the right spots for the tooltips. And THAT, I think requires running Acrobat Pro. I don't think you can do it in Acrobat Standard. So if you have Pro, or can get it, this might be a time to do so. If you have Standard, you can check around to see. It may be I'm wrong. I know there are a few more "auto" things I wanted to do in Acrobat, but couldn't b/c I had Standard, and personally thought what I needed it for wouldn't be worth it to my employer, b/c I could manually handle the tasks pretty easily.

I do have Pro, so it might be possible. I'll just try with manually created labels for now I think as I need to get something out sonner rather than later.
