print doc and leave it in queue

I have a list in print queue
I want to print it and to leave it in the queue in hold

The situation is :
1) Mainfram send lpr to Unix
2) in unix the doc has been printed on Remote printer to the user
3) I want to look at the list , because the user found some information that he want me to check in the doc

AFAIK you can't print it and hold it in the Q - Depends how often you want to do this - how about sending it to 2 Qs one of which is down ?
