I need to print a list of disabled tn's. i am trying to do this in ld 32 but not getting the results i need.

is anyone familiar with this?

thanks

Either I don't have anything disabled or this isn't working for me. Hummmm . . have an example ?

for digital sets a lot of us use ld 117

inv generate sets

or better inv generate midnight

with the 1st prompt the switch tells in when it's complete then you can inv prt sets, that idc's all digital sets, you will see the missing as well as the sets that the as built does not match the actual..

LD 32
LDIS 4 0

This will list disabled units on superloop 4, shelf 0. Repeat for all of your superloops / shelves to get all of them.

What switch do you have?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Another option can be done in LD 30

On an Option 11 system:
LD 30
>TEST

The output will show any TN's / sets that it couldn't ping and this command also disables the TN.

The output would look like this:

>LD 30
NWS000
.TEST

NWS401 3 : -7 -12

NWS501 4 : -13

NWS401 6 : -0 -1 -2 -3 -4 -5 -6 -7 -8

NWS401 9 : -3 -5 -11 -12

.

So TN 3-7 and 3-12 have are programmed but there is currently no sets attached.

On a larger system, like an 81C the command is
LD 30
> LOOP ALL

and the result will be the same.

well i guess a dozen answers to a simple question means that there is a lot of ways to do the same thing.. every answer is right.. i run a short script, here's a partial copy of it.. it has to be modified per switch..

Code:
proc main

CAPTURE ON

    waitfor "." forever
transmit "LDIS 4 0^M"
    waitfor "." forever
transmit "LDIS 4 1^M"
    waitfor "." forever
transmit "LDIS 8 0^M"
    waitfor "." forever
transmit "LDIS 8 1^M"
    waitfor "." forever
transmit "LDIS 20 0^M"
    waitfor "." forever
transmit "LDIS 20 1^M"
    waitfor "." forever
transmit "LDIS 24 0^M"

capture off

endproc

i didn't include all my ipe's but the general idea is simple.. and i'm to lazy to type.. the other scprit i use for almost the same thing
Code:
proc main
   transmit "****^M"
   waitfor ">"
   transmit "ld 117^M"
   waitfor "=> "
   capture on
   transmit "inv prt sets^M"
   waitfor "=> " forever
   capture off
endproc
pull that dot cap up in excel.. use a macro to sort, delete and compare...
