Hi

I have been asked to write to an Audit Table every time an access report is printed.

The print command for all the reports in the database displays the standard print dialog box.

I can obviously capture that the print button has been clicked (which then displays the print dialog box), but what I then need is to know is which printer the user selected via the print dialog box (if any, as printing may have been cancelled).

If anyone could provide assistance ref this it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

edsuk,
No bites from someone that knows so here is a general direction.

You can get to the printer with API's so here are a couple of keywords you might search on to find an answer.

[tab][tt]PrintMon.exe winspool.drv OpenPrinter GetPrinter[/tt]

Hope this helps,
CMP
