print date in a sub-report

How can you set the printdate in a sub-report. When I set it in the main it does not make any changes to the subreport.

What does set it in the main mean?

A printdate isn't set, it is a function used to return when the report is printed, and if it's used in a subreport it should show up.

I haven't heard of a bug related to this, but you might install the service packs if you're getting unexpected results.

Almost any field in the main report can be passed to the subreport. If it tries to match to something unsuitable, you can accept this and fix it in the subreport.
