I have drawn up an Ad in Illustrator (10)> The printery gave their trim measuremnets to me, which I loaded up to artboard, I have drawn up all the artwork within the dotted lines. Is this all i need to do to send to print. ( i did ring up the printery but they confused me more)
Or do i need to add a bleed, etc. And if so how do I add one?
Thanks,
PS I know this is beginner stuff but i have always been confused by it.

If you add has anything like a photo or colour touching the edge of the trim area you need to extend them so they overlap the trim by about 5mm.
You do that because if the Printshop trims the job a bit oversized then you wont see a white strip down the edge of the page where the photo or colour should be.
