Hi--

Thanks for everyones help a few weeks ago. I finally got a machine hookedup to my Legend r5v10 and am using WinSPM to do soem things.

I'm tryign to figure out how to print out the current configuration of the pbx. I found an option in:
Sys Prog
Exit
More
Print
and everytime I choose an option, it says "printing..." but where does it print?

Where can I connect a printer? Someone said the SDMR port (or SMDR or SRDM or whatever), but what would my connectino look like there? What part would I need? I have the 355A gonig from my laptop into the ADMIN port using d8w cable...

Thanks for your help...

when you are at the print promt, put in print ams and it will print to your laptop screen

I don't have that option.

I have the following options:

The screen looks like the Operators Phone:

Print (English): >
Make a Selection
All Trunk Info
SysSet-up T1 Info
Dial Plan PRI Info
Labels RmoteAccess
Exit Oper Info

If I hit More (>) I get
Allow List ARS
AllowListTo Ext Direct
DisallowLst Sys Direct
DisallowTo Group Page
Exit Ext Info

If I hit More (>) again I get
GrpCoverage Error Log
Grp Calling Auth Code
NightServce BRI Info
Call Pickup
Exit

I don't have an option to type anything myself... I just have buttons to hit...

More ideas?

Hunter...
When you select say.. SysSet-up you should get a box that comes up and asks for a file name to print to in AMS format. I always let it do print and it prints to the screen. If you want a text file then select export at the top of the screen, there you can rename the file to whatever you what it to be and can access it easily from your desktop.

Hope this helps!

Found the problem...

your system was already configured this way, but mine wasn't...

I had to do this...

Print Opts
PC Port

it was set to the default SMDR port

Now it all comes up on my screen just fine

Thanks
