Print Cartridges say ink low

Hello all,
I have a HP 2500CM color inkjet printer that I want to use without the color cartridges installed. I use it because I print schematic drawings on 13X19 paper and don't need color. The proplem is every time I go to use it it says cyan or yellow are low and won't print. Is there a way to fool the printer into thinking there are good cartridges installed.

Put in a color cartridge; the printer won't print without one, whether you are using color or not.

Good news is, if you never use it, you (in theory) won't ever have to replace it. ;-)
