Need help writing a correct print capture statement.
Have an older App. called "Reality" that has 8 or so network printers set up and each uses a batch statement to direct to the proper network printer.
I want to print some jobs to my local on LPT1.
The program has allowed me to add the printer however I need to direct the job to the Capture Statement and thus my local printer.
Any help?
thanks

If this is a DOS program you are talking about, Windows will let you capture a printer port in the printer properties. I have, on DOS programs, captured the printer port to LPT2 and/or LPT3. Then you should be able to tell the DOS program to print to LPT2 and/or LPT3 and set up the drivers for the networked printer on the machines that need to access it. Also you should be able to tell the DOS program what brand or at least what type of printer the network printer is. Every day above ground is a GOOD DAY!!!

I may need to clarify;
The program is on the Network.
I want it to print to my local printer/not networked.
The program uses batch files to print to the networked printers. I need one to send it to my local printer which is not networked.
