Case as follows:
Local computer, ( could be MSWin, MSDOS or Unix ) prints to my Win2K server.
I need to keep a copy of the print job and then forward (print) the print job to the approiate printer. I can foward the print job by using a script that sends it to the correct printer.
Then I parse the copy of the print job with a script I write and run one of my processes. And do my own clean up.
In Linux I would use a printfilter with a "tee" command which would give a copy and send the original on it's way.
Thanks for the read. It should be an intersting problem.
Thanks,
John G. Lynn
