Print button only works with 'Run This Form'

We have an Outlook form designed by a former employee that we are trying to maintain. It has a print button on it that executes a script when clicked. If I have the form open in design mode and click on 'Run this Form', and click on the print button, it prints. However, when the form is published and I click on the button, nothing happens. Am I missing a step here?
