I have a merlin legend that has a system directory with some incomplete information. I don't know where to get an over view of what extensions are listed in the directory. We have some valid extensions not listed and some extensions we don't use any more still listed. The only way I have been addressing the problem is when someone says that a caller punched in their last name, but they didn't get directed to their extension.

I can''t find a way to print a copy of this directory from within WinSPM. Is there a way to get this info ??

Thanks,
Bill

You have three issues here. First the dial by last name is a function of the voice mail system, and the changes need to be mede there to the "Directory Listing" for the individual extensions. Second, there is a "system directory" of systemwide autodials, and Thirdly, there is an "extension directory" of stations on your system. You want to make a match (for sanity reasons) between the PBX Extension Directory" and the voicemail system's "Directory Listing". I think for what you are asking you need to stick to the voicemail system. If you are on a Merlin Mail system, the only way to get a printout is via the Serial port on the voice mail module. The best advice, is to do change the known mismatched extension on the voice mail system under the extensions submenu. You'll be looking for "to change the directory listing".
