I’m making a coding database for a small doctor’s office and I want to print a report that prints only the records that the staff will be entering at one session. The data being kept is on multiple patients and multiple procedures so I want the data that we are working on that day to print I’m not sure of the best route to take to achieve this so any help will be most helpful. Also these reports must be sent to Texas, and I want to do this by e-mail. This report will most likely be many pages, and the way we send the reports now. We scan them and make a PDF and attach the file to an e-mail is there a way I can shortcut this and instead of printing the report can I save this as a PDF or something so I don’t have to attach multiple reports to an e-mail. Thanks for any help you can give. Tom

Do you have any field(s) that allow you to query "one session" or "that day"? You can install a PDF writer on your PC and send your report to a pdf file. There are several free PDF writers on the internet.
You might want to look at ACG's software at

Good Day;
I have created a form with 18 records. I also have a corresponding report. I would like to create a command button on the form that would print the corresponding record from the report I have created. Hope what I am trying to say makes sense.

Use the command button wizard to create a button to open the report in preview mode. The user can then select File|Print and select the PDF printer. Depending on the "flavor" of your pdf writer, you might be prompted for a file name. You can then open your email client and attach the PDF file to your email.

No i don't have a field that keeps data for the day that we do the code info. do you think thats the best way to go? i can add the field and run the report from that i just was not sure if that was the way to go. Thanks Tom

ramrags,
If you want to limit a report to a specific set of records, you must have a way to filter those records. YOu can add a field that tracks the date and time a record was added (or updated).
