I have a gant chart that I want to print based on a filtered view. When I want to print it however it chooses to pring the enter gant chart were these specific filtered tasks are not showing as well as the area where the filtered tasks are showing. Is there any way to only print the area where the filtered tasks are showing

I cannot replicate your problem.

It sounds to me as if you might have invoked the filter as a highlight filter:

Project | Filtered for... | More filters...

Then you selected a filter and click on the "Highlight" button.

What version are you using?

What are the EXACT mousekeys and keystrokes that you pressed?

I have a project that runs from Jan 1/07 to Dec 31/07 and I have tasks that use different resources in this project but I only want to print the gantt chart for one resource. All I do is filter tasks based on a resource so only the tasks using a specific resource is showing. The resource that I want to print is only used from June to Aug however I can't seem to figure out how to print the gantt chart so only June to Aug is showing. It prints the whole year.

Open the project file
[ul][li]If not already displayed, insert the column "Resource Names"[/li]
[li]If not already selected, click on "Autofilter"[/li]
[li]Click on the little triangle in the "Resource Names" title[/li]
[li]In the dropdown click on the resource name you want to display[/li]
[li]Click on File | Print[/li]
[li]In the Print dialog popup: at the lower left corner set the From date to June 1, 2007; set the To date to Aug 31[/li]
[li]Click on the Preview button[/li]
