Hi all...I'm trying to use Word 2010 to print 5-up divider tabs for 3 ring binders. Currently, we print the tabs on regular paper, then go to a copier and copy them to the tab dividers. Seems like a waste of time to me but I can't figure out how to set it up in Word so I can print from HP 5100 printer. The text prints but is always below the tab...

Any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks.

Hi,

What is the format on the sheet that you are printing?

Usually these thing are to be printed in peel-off label sheets.

Thanks for the response. I'm afraid that the peel-off label sheets is the answer I'm going to get...

I'm not sure I know what you mean by format...they are 5 tab dividers and I've tried formatting the Word document with the text positioned for each tab and changing the paper size in Page Layout to 9x11. I thought maybe the increased half inch in paper size might do the trick...

Thanks for your input.

Are you not using a pre-designed template? You could even construct your own template to your sprcifications. Then tweet the design to accommodate you particular tab design.

I'll give it a go...thanks for your time.

Regarding format, I just pulled up an Avery label template, in Word, that has 18 rows 2 columns (Avery 1109 BIG TAB inserts for Dividers 5-Tab)
