Principal user has personal co lines no ring, coverage not working

I have a user with a merlin magix and merlin messaging that has personal lines and calls are not cover when the lines are set to no ring.

The extension is setup as the principal user for the personal lines.

Need a work around to get the lines to go to the users mailbox without having the line ring on the phone.

Any help is appreciated.

Program line to ring.Program "do not disturb" button on phone. Turn on Do Not Disturb and you will have V.M. coverage with no ringing.

I should have mentioned the extension needs to receive internal calls.

It really isn't the "Principal User" if it doesn't ring there, does it?

Since you have Merlin Messaging, pick an adjunct, assign the line to it as well, make the adjunct the principal user, and cover the adjunct to voicemail. In the Merlin Messaging, make a mailbox for the adjunct, and make your original user the phantom destination of messages. Log into the adjunct's mailbox and record an outgoing message. Set your original user to No Ring on the line, and you should be good to go.
