How can I change that easily to another set? I am doing it 1 at a time, there must be a faster way? I added a new conference unit today, and the prime set changed for the whole office. Not sure what happened. Thanks in advance.

There are a number of places to have a prime set one is for the trunks/Lines/PRI I usualy put none then there are the target lines that should match the extention it is assinged to.It changes all prime when you enter it in the PRI/VOIP trunk section. And no you have to add or change each target prime one at a time.

There no way that could have changed.

how did you add a conf phone?

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I plugged a new Digital Nortel Conferencing unit it, and it grabbed a DN that I didn't want. I renamed the DN by deleting it, and changed it. It may have been coincidence. But I now have a different prime set for all my target lines. I only have 40 DID's so i manually put those back, but I am just stumped by what I did.

Thank You

Nortstarboy,

Good point. I will look. But if a set is on that port, will it take the prime set roll?

Thanks

Any time you plug any phone into a port it will take the Default programming that is programmed in the system unless that port is already programm for the same model of phone that your plugging in. Also when you plug in a phone it doesn't just grab any old DN, it take the DN that is assigned to the port by the system or the one you assigned when the system was setup. If you didn't do a setup originally, then everything will be at the default.
