Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to assign a key to be the prime line for outgoing calls on a phone.

System is Nortel option 11, currently key 0 on the set is first choice. I want the set to pick key 14. I made a change to LPK, it can now pick up ringing calls on key 14, but we want it to be first choice outbound too.

This should answer your question...

Feature description
The bottom key on a Meridian 1 proprietary telephone is the Prime DN. It is
preselected for call origination. If a user wishes to place or receive a call on
any other DN, the key must be manually selected.

On another note, with OLA in the CLS and LPK defined as a key other than 0, if Key 0 is on hold or busy, then going off hook will select next available key up for outgoing calls.

thanks. So it really cant be done exactly as I want...

Not for outgoing calls. You will always auto select key 0 unless key 0 is busy or on hold.
