Hi guys,

Is there a way to force the prime line key appareance to display the called huntgroup instead of the calling number ? (5330 sets)

Basically what I'm after is, I have multiple DDI going to the same group/ACD path. I want to be able to differentiate calls between them.

When the phone rings, your eyes naturally go straigh on to the flashing key (in my case the prime line). However I would prefer showing the group being called instead of the calling party's number.

Ultimately this is to work also with a SIP phone.

make sure your DDI numbers point to a nametag hunt group that is routed always to the hunt group and give each nametag hunt group a name

If you are using ACD then naming the ACD path should provide calling name
there is a little known cos option After Answer Display Time
which is balnk by default if you set this to 0 then it will display the name

Alright let's focus on ACD Then

My DDI 4513 is mapped (speedcall) to the nametag huntgroup 8601.
8601 has a telephone directory entry named XXXX
8601 is call routed always to ACD Path named YYYY

My ACD agent, member of the ACD path, has a COS with After Answer Display Time set to "0"

If I ring from my mobile phone the DDI number here is what happens on the 5330 of my ACD agent:

On the first line, the trunk name or calling number is shown depending how I set the COS.
On the second line the nametag huntgroup XXXX is displayed instead of the ACD group name (YYYY).

On the prime line appareance, the calling number (my mobile) is shown, although I would like to see the nametag huntgroup.

Am I missing something ?

Thanks.

Thanks Supernova,

I've checked that but no joy.

I've to admit I'm fairly lost when it's about CoS. I'm guessing my CoS have become messy over time. I never know if an option need to be applied on a trunk / group / or IP set.

Would someone be able to provide me an export of their CoS so I can use it as a template or any documents explaining how CoS works

cheers,
