this is the doc that I used to setup Collaboration pack 1.1
Part of that is enabling UCM on system manager 6.3

Thanks...The strange part is that a while later I was able to start using the system manager as the primary UCM. I didn't chnage a thing, so I guess it will remain a mystery. The NTP will be useful as I'm about to get into the configuration of the Colab features.
