I have a C: unit as extended and logical, and a D: unit as primary in windows 2000 professional. How can i switch this without loss data??
final result may be:
c: primary partition
d: extended partition with logical unit

You would need a partition management program in order to do that. I would recommend Partition Magic. That should allow you to manipulate your partitions without any data loss. I've used it plenty of times and it always works like magic for me. However, I still recommend backing up important files just in case... Enkrypted
