Hi

Can we update Unique Primary Index field/value in a table.If so, does it effects AMP distribution after update?

You can't change the diffinition of the primary index without creating/reloading the table

You can't modify the PI definition, but you can update a row's PI value:
new PI value -> new RowHash -> new AMP responsible for that row -> the same as delete/re-insert that row, all SIs have to be maintained, too.

The only way to change a PI value is to delete the row and re-insert with new PI value.
