Hi, Out of the blue after months of good service, my win2k server booted up to a blue screen 7b error for inaccessible boot device. I cannot repair it or reinstall win2kserver or even chkdsk it. It only goes to the blue screen mentioned above.

This hp lhpro3000 800 mhz 512 mb ram system has a built in 9.1 gb hard drive that houses only the os (this is the one I am replaceing) and then 3-18 gb hdrives in raid 5 where my critical data lies. I have a backup from 7 days ago, but would prefer not to backtrack. So I plan to swap a new hard drive, reload the os. My raid 5 disks should be there as before, shouldn't they, or the data is what I am asking? I'm just looking for confirmation or pointing out what I might have wrongly assumed. thanks in advance. bg
