Hi

I am having an issue with the CMS time on the primary of two HA connected CMS v 12.

On both CMS, the primary time source is a CM4 switch, but the time on the primary CMS continuously moves from the current time say 12:06, to 05:06. I think this is then causing me issues with my symon wallboards.

The other CMS, doesnt seem to be having this issue at all.

Unix time on CMS is always correct

Anyone seen this before?

I would check the /cms/env/clock/clock_diff file. This should only have a 0 (Zero) in it if the CMS system and the master ACD (CM) are in the same timezone. This file is used as a seconds offset. So if the link or time reference from the CM is deemed by the CMS application as unstable it will use the CMS system Solaris time and offset it by the seconds in this file. If you do change the value in the clock_diff file I would recommend that the CMS is rebooted right after it has been changed.
This offset does not affect the statistical data but does affect any clock references that maybe used, like the time on the menus. report run at time and possibly some timetables.

This would explain why the time on menus keeps changing. I would look at the CMS link and make sure there are no major errors on it.

Hope this helps
