primary and mirror chunks are bad

I'm having a problem with primary chunks. We are on IDS 7.31.UC7. HP-UX 11.00

1. I keep getting the following error.....
ISAM error: Primary and Mirror chunks are bad

2. I tried to add a chunk and ever since, I've been getting this error message.

Is this a device/disk problem or a database issue??

What is the isam error number associated with it? Dodge20
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
