Hello again: We just recently brought in a PRI circuit to replace our CO trunks for better quality. My question is this: The B-channels are in pool grp 890, should I still be able to go off-hook and dial 9 to get a outgoing trunk? Or will I have to create another Idle Line access code for pool 890? I know I'll have to remove the old trunks from pool 70, I'd like to know what my next steo will be. Thanks in advance.

Guys: I've solved my dilemma. I just made the necessary changes to the ARS table, and everything works like a charm!! One other question (and I think I already know the answer) Is there any way to unassign any of the line from the PRI from the console or is that just the nature of the beast that the circuti will take up 23 appearances on the console? Thanks in advance.

Tony

Yep, you can take all the lines of the PRI off the console. Any time you add lines to any pool. BOOM, there they are on the console wiping out the buttons you just programmed.

Pepperz, thanks for the reply. But when I try to remove the line apperance from the console, I get a programming error. What's the procedure for doing this? Thanks.

The line buttons getting automatically added to the Operator console is one of the most annoying things about Merlin. Especially since active buttons are overwritten. In the past I always received programming errors when trying to reassign buttons and had to go to the physical phone to manually reassign things. Try this out and let me know...
